Laura George S/S 2010

One stand out at Alberta Fashion Week was the presentation of the Laura George Spring/Summer 2010 bridal collection. As the models floated across the runway, the subtleties of love and care were evident in the structured yet soft tailoring that could be seen in this collection.

The models seemed to glide effortlessly in time to the soft music in a manner that in many ways was reminiscent of a beautiful princess taking her final steps down the aisle to be united with her Prince Charming and not the rapid clicking lenses of photographers in the press pit.

The mainly sleeveless collection would present an array of styles, structured bustier dresses as well as scooped neck dresses would command attention as the backs of each dress would be teamed with floor length shawls adorned with floral attachments placed in strategic positions, almost giving the impression each model had immersed from a bed of light Spring flowers.

George would present a simple yet pure collection that was enough to make any girl believe she would feel special in every dress that graced the runway.
